Clubs and club logos
Live keeps no club registry of its own — so getting a badge onto your rows happens in another product.
Club pages
Every competition has a clubs tab listing each club entered, with how many runners it has, largest first. Opening one gives you that club's runners across every class it is entered in — grouped by class, in the competition's own class order, and ordered by place within each group.
Each group carries the whole class behind it, even though only the club's runners are shown. Placings, split ranks and time behind are therefore measured against the full field, exactly as they are on the class page.
Club pages update like class pages
Where the logo comes from
A club logo appears beside a runner's club name when Routster has one on file. Live reads the platform club registry directly — the same table Prepare and Analyse write to — and keeps no copy of its own.
Two conditions have to hold for a badge to appear:
- The club exists in the registry and has been approved by a Routster administrator. Unapproved clubs are filtered out entirely.
- The club has a logo set. A club with a row but no logo renders nothing — not a placeholder glyph, not initials.
Matching is on the club name with any relay team suffix stripped, so "Täby OK 2" and "Täby OK 3" both resolve to "Täby OK". The registered name has to match the name the timing system prints: a club entered upstream under an abbreviation and registered here under its full name gets no badge.
Getting your club a logo
The club registry is written from Prepare and Analyse. Either works; they share one database and one moderation queue.
Step 1. Request the club
Step 2. Wait for approval
Step 3. Upload the logo, as a club admin
Step 4. Wait for Live to pick it up
What makes a good club logo
It is drawn at 16 px beside a name in a results table, on white, scaled to fit rather than cropped, with no ring or shadow. A club's own mark is never recoloured.
| Do | Avoid |
|---|---|
| A square or near-square crop | A wide banner — it shrinks to an illegible sliver |
| Solid shapes that survive at 16 px | Fine lines and small lettering |
| A transparent or white background | A dark background, which will sit on a white tile |
| PNG, under 4 MB | A photograph of a printed logo |
The uploader in Prepare offers a cropper, which is the easier route if your source file is not already square.

Following your own club
There is no "my club" setting. Open the competition, go to the clubs tab and pick yours, or reach the same page from any club-mate's row. To follow the same people every weekend, favourite them: that works across competitions without knowing which race they entered.
