Full course
The whole race in one picture — the view for spotting shape rather than detail.
Full course draws the entire map, the whole course and your complete track at once. It is the view for questions about the race as a whole: which part of the terrain the planner was using, where the long legs were, and whether your mistakes cluster anywhere.

What is on the map

Course symbols are drawn in map units rather than screen units, so they scale with the map exactly as they would if they had been printed on it. A control circle stays the right size relative to the terrain at every zoom.
The map itself is never tinted
Overall statistics
- Distance run against the straight line through all controls. The ratio is the single most useful number in the panel: it is roughly how much extra ground your route choices and your execution cost you.
- Total time and average pace, computed over the race portion — the warm-up and cool-down are excluded, and can also be hidden from the map entirely.
- Climb and descent, where the file carries elevation.
- Mistakes and what they cost, aggregated. Where the event has split times these come from the splits rather than from the GPS heuristics.
Warm-up and cool-down
A GPX from a watch usually starts in the car park and ends after a jog back. Analyse detects the race portion and treats everything outside it as warm-up and cool-down: excluded from the statistics, excluded from mistake detection, and hideable from the map. Terrain statistics for them are kept in a separate card, folded by default.
Rotating the map
Full course can be rotated by dragging. Turning the map to the orientation you held it in shows route choices as they appeared at the time, which is not how they appear north-up.
